Nearly 2,000 SDG&E customers in Chula Vista without power

CHULA VISTA, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — An outage in Chula Vista has nearly 2,000 residents without power Thursday night, according to San Diego Gas & Electric.

According to SDG&E’s outage map , 1,859 customers were affected by the power outage which happened shortly after 10 p.m.

The estimated restoration time was Friday morning around 1 a.m., according to the map. All power has since been restored to customers in this area.

SDG&E is still working to determine what caused the outage.

What a weird article. The outage was not unplanned. WE had prior notice that they would be working in our area. Power was restored two hours early. No big deal! Nothing like what the people are going through in Florida. 🕊❤️🙏🙌 PRAY for them!! 🙏🙏😇
