    Four vehicles damaged by fire in Liberty Station parking lot

    SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Four vehicles in a Liberty Station parking lot were damaged by fire Sunday afternoon, police say.

    Officers with the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department responded to calls for a fire at 4:30 p.m. Sunday outside the Corvette Diner on Historic Decatur Rd in Liberty Station.

    According to authorities, a Nissan Xterra caught fire for unknown reasons and spread to three other nearby vehicles.

    Firefighters were able to get the fires knocked down in around 20 minutes. No injuries were reported. San Diego Police were on the scene and had the area blocked off.

    According to SDFD, a preliminary investigation shows nothing suspicious, however it remains under investigation.
