SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — It’s not feeling like fall the next few days, instead plenty of sunshine and hot weather for inland areas.

A Heat Advisory will take effect for San Diego inland valleys like Escondido, San Marcos, Poway, Santee, Ramona, El Cajon and mountain communities like Julian for Tuesday and Wednesday. Daytime highs will be widespread in the 90s up to 102 degrees.

An Excessive Heat Warning is in effect for desert communities until Thursday evening where afternoon temps could race up to 114 degrees.

As high pressure expands over the western United States, the marine layer will thin out as well and remain confined to the coast. Areas of dense fog are expected Monday night and early Tuesday morning for beaches and coastal waters.

Beaches will get close to 80 degree weather for middle of the week with above average temperatures forecasted again for the weekend.
