NEW YORK (PIX11) — Some Bank of America users reported problems accessing their funds online Wednesday. Some online services appear to be down, according to Downdetector .

A message on the Bank of America app states, “Accounts Temporarily Unavailable. Some accounts and/or balances are temporarily unavailable.”

Customers took to social media platforms like Twitter and Reddit to ask what was happening with their funds.

“Time to switch banks,” wrote one Reddit user on a Bank of America thread . “BOFA has been notorious for being a horrible bank. I suggest you all screenshot your latest transactions in case the bank tries to short you.”

In January 2023, Bank of America customers complained about money missing from deposits and Zelle transactions. Many said they called the bank’s customer service and had no luck getting information.

On Wednesday afternoon , Bank of America’s help account on X responded to customers who had tweeted about the app being down, urging people to send a DM with additional details and personal information.

One Bank of America account holder asked, “Is there something wrong with the app today? I have been trying to log in, and I keep on not being able to. My app goes in a loop.”

Bank of America was not immediately available to comment.
