Man stabbed at 7-Eleven; suspect remains on the loose

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A man was stabbed in the face outside of a 7-Eleven convenience store in Teralta West Wednesday, authorities said.

The violence unfolded shortly after midnight when the victim, 32, got into a verbal argument with another man in front of the store, the San Diego Police Department explained.

For reasons still under investigation, two other men walked up to the pair. At that point, police said one of them stabbed the victim once in the cheek area. The suspect, only described as a short Black man, ran away from the scene.

The victim was treated at a local hospital. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
