    Lincoln County Public Schools set to roll out pay raises for fourth year in a row

    STANFORD, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — Lincoln County Public Schools (LCPS) staff will receive a pay raise in July.

    LCPS announced on Facebook that the Lincoln County Board of Education approved a system-wide raise in staff salaries after a meeting on Thursday, from custodians to coaches.

    According to Superintendent Bruce Smith, 2024 marks the fourth year in a row of approved raises for LCPS staff.

    “This not only rewards our dedicated staff for their hard work,” Superintendent Smith added. “But it also allows us to hopefully attract the best candidates for our vacant positions. I am thankful our board realizes that recruiting and retaining great staff members is a major key to a successful school district.”

    LCPS’s announcement on Facebook outlined highlights of the staff salary increases:

    • 7% raise for certified staff (Ranks I, II and III)
    • 4% raise for certified staff (Rank IV)
    • 2% raise for certified staff (Rank V)
    • $1/hour raise for classified staff (at a minimum)
    • Increase of stipends for athletic coaches
    • 30-year category to reward employees who reach that level of service for both certified & classified

    LCPS said the raises will be reflected during the current school year, taking effect on July 1st.
