KENTUCKY ( FOX 56 ) — Over the last three months, there have been more than 54 collisions reported near the Kentucky-Tennessee state line on I-65, according to authorities.

According to the Kentucky State Police, these collisions prompted a joint effort with the Simpson County Sheriff’s Office to decrease the number of collisions and criminal activities from the state line through mile marker 20.

    LATEST KENTUCKY NEWS:

KSP reported that the joint effort resulted in 1 arrest, 40 speeding tickets, and 25 additional citations, including driving on a suspended license, lane usage violations, lack of insurance, and careless driving charges.
