    Thousands without power as wave of severe storms sweeps across Kentucky

    LEXINGTON, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — Crews across Kentucky worked to restore power on Saturday after a wave of severe storms swept through the Bluegrass.

    A wave of severe weather pushed high-speed wind and rain across the Commonwealth on Saturday, leaving hundreds of customers without power.

    A map of power outages caused by severe weather Saturday showed that over 600 customers are currently without power in Fayette County, with over 700 outages for customers in Clark, Lawrence, and Rockcastle counties.
