BARDSTOWN, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — The three-foot-tall Corona Snoop Dogg statue has become a restaurant treasure and popular among thieves.

The Grill at Maywood took to Facebook on Aug. 23, after employees realized Snoop had left the building in the arms of two men on Monday.

“They need to ‘Drop it Like it’s Hot’ and bring back Snoop,” the restaurant said.

After days of pleading, on Tuesday the statue was returned, wrapped in bubble wrap, with a handwritten note.

“My staff was torn up until he returned,” Allison Osborne, owner, told FOX 56.
