    Teenager charged after Marion County High School closes due to threat

    LEBANON, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — A 16-year-old male has been arrested after the police investigated a threat reportedly made to Marion County High School.

    According to the Kentucky State Police, the Lebanon Police Department requested assistance after learning of the threat. After an extensive investigation, troopers said the minor was arrested and charged with first-degree terroristic threatening.

    LATEST KENTUCKY NEWS:

    The school district took to Facebook to announce that school had been closed on Monday in response to the threat.

    The minor was booked into an area juvenile detention center. The case remains under investigation by KSP.
