Motorcycle crash in Laurel County kills 1

LONDON, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — One person is dead following a crash involving a motorcycle in Laurel County.

London police said the crash happened Monday around 8:11 a.m. at the intersection of South Main and Armory Street.

The preliminary investigation found that 84-year-old Lowell Carter, of London, was driving a Can-Am Ryker when he collided with another vehicle.

Carter was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
