Animal rescue asking for donations after ‘at least’ 30 dogs removed from alleged Spencer County hoarding case

SPENCER COUNTY, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — A Kentucky nonprofit is asking for donations after removing several cats and 30 dogs from an alleged animal hoarding case in Spencer County on Tuesday.

Kentucky Animal Action (KAA) posted on Facebook around 5 p.m. Tuesday that “at least 30 dogs and several cats” were removed from an alleged animal hoarding case. “Major immediate needs are for rescue and monetary donations for medical treatment,” KAA staff said.

The nonprofit added that staff are accepting donations of flea and tick preventatives, dewormers, tests, and other medical supplies.
