LEXINGTON, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — Kentucky schools faced dozens of disruptions in September due to threats, and on Monday the Federal Bureau of Investigations is responding.

The FBI said the threats have led to evacuations and even class cancellations for multiple schools across Kentucky.

The agency is reminding the public that such threats are not jokes and have serious consequences.

“Remember, hoax threats are not a joke, and they can have devastating consequences—both for the public and for the perpetrators. These threats disrupt school, waste resources, and put first responders and innocent people in unnecessary danger,” the FBI said in a news release.

Threats, whether on social media or through text messages and email, are federal crimes.

All this started when the government declared gun free zones. You can see how that really stopped the shootings and threats to school.
