LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — Cindy Mullins lost part of all four limbs late in 2023 due to a rare infection, but in the past year, she’s been the recipient of numerous acts of goodwill and kindness, showing that it takes a village.

Wednesday, family and friends gathered to celebrate the Mullins miracle grand reveal.

“This is more than I ever dreamed. There are not enough words to say thank you to everybody,” said Mullins.

An army of contractors, professionals, and volunteers completed the entire project from the slab up in just 10 days.

And now, for the first time, the Mullins family gets to see their completed new home.

“You know, there’s people from Somerset and Stafford, Lincoln County, I’m sure Lexington all over. And a lot of us actually compete against each other in everyday life. And everybody came out here, pulled together and worked together. Everybody had a positive attitude. It really came, and it turned out awesome. It was amazing to hold the journey,” said Dan Weiss, a contractor on the project.

The home sits on 20 acres and is decked out with everything she could need on a day-to-day basis. A fully accessible home.

“I told James I literally gave an arm and a leg for this house, but I really gave two arms and two legs for this house,” Mullins said.
