BREMEN, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — Authorities are investigating after a deadly crash involving a train on Thursday.

According to the Kentucky State Police Department (KSP), troopers were dispatched just after 4:40 p.m. CDT on Thursday to KY-70, about eight miles east of Madisonville in response to a call from the Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Department (MCSD) asking for help investigating a deadly crash.

Body found in Laurel County confirmed to be I-75 shooting suspect Joseph Couch

An initial investigation showed that 37-year-old Roxana Allison of Providence was driving a white Cadillac Escalade heading west on KY-70, per KSP.

Allison allegedly “collided with a P&L train as it crossed over Ky-70 traveling east,” authorities said in a news release.

Rep. Daniel Grossberg faces growing allegations of harassment, calls for resignation

The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
