7 students involved in Bath County bus crash

OWINGSVILLE, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — Bath County Public Schools said no one was hurt after a bus accident on Monday in Owingsville.

Bath County Public Schools said on Facebook that the incident involved a bus being side-swiped by an oncoming vehicle near the Crossroads Elementary School campus.

The school system said seven students and a driver were on board at the time and were immediately checked by paramedics, and no one needed immediate care.

“Thank you to our local first responders for your quick response and great care of our students,” Bath County Public Schools said on Facebook.

The school system said all families were contacted after the event, and a one-call was sent to all other families in the district.
