    Heavy rains cause rockslide on Kentucky Route 7, rocks still falling in area

    PERRY COUNTY, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — A rockslide near the Perry County-Letcher County line was reported due to heavy rains.

    Perry County dispatchers said one lane is currently blocked on Kentucky Route 7.

    LATEST KENTUCKY NEWS:

    The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet confirmed rocks are still falling, and passengers should proceed cautiously when traveling in the area or avoid the area entirely if possible.

    It’s unknown when the lane will be cleared and reopened.
