    Golden Alert canceled for man last seen in London

    LONDON, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — Authorities provided an update late Friday regarding a Golden Alert.

    According to the London Police Department, 60-year-old Jerry J. Stewart was located safe around midnight.

    London police are searching for a missing man.

    The London Police Department is asking people to keep their eyes open for 60-year-old Jerry J. Stewart. He was reportedly last seen around 2:30 p.m. on Friday at the Comfort Inn and Suites.

    🔎 MISSING IN KENTUCKY

    He is described as being 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds with gray or partially gray hair, a long beard, and blue eyes.

    Police said Jerry recently suffered a stroke, is in the early stages of dementia, and is mostly non-verbal.

    He had a two-day-old bus ticket to Knoxville, Tennessee, so authorities said he might have been trying to travel there.
