    Escaped Webster County inmate found

    DIXON, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — Law enforcement said in a news release that Gregory Munsell, 30, of Princeton was found and lodged in the Webster County Detention Center.

    A search is underway for a Princeton man who escaped from the Webster County Detention Center on Saturday morning.

    According to the Kentucky State Police Department (KSP), troopers were dispatched after getting a call from the Webster County Detention Center in Dixon.

    An initial investigation showed that Gregory Munsell, 30, of Princeton “walked away” from the detention center around 6 a.m. Saturday, per law enforcement.

    Munsell is described by authorities as 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 174 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing an orange jumpsuit and reportedly has a “significant identifying cross tattoo on his left forearm and tattoos on his chest, back, and ankle,” per KSP.

    Anyone with information that could help find Munsell is asked to call KSP Post 2 in Madisonville at (270) 676-3313. Authorities said anonymous tips can also be sent through the KSP website .
