FRANKFORT, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — Gov. Andy Beshear has ordered flags at all state buildings to be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Saturday to honor the Air Evac Lifeteam crew who died on Oct. 7 in Owenton.

FOX 56 News previously reported that 40-year-old Bethany Aicken, 29-year-old James Welsh, and 66-year-old Gale Alleman were on a helicopter flight to pick up a patient located in Owenton, but before landing the helicopter struck a guy wire and crashed, killing all three on board.

Half staff for flags was only when a Head of State died. Beshear is a Democrat. If your neighbor’s dog died he would declare ‘half staff’ Stupid 😵‍💫😵‍💫
