PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — An 18-year-old Somerset man was arrested after a multi-county chase by deputies ended in a crash in Clinton County Thursday night.

It all started just after 8:30 p.m. on Thursday according to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO), when deputies reportedly saw a white 2007 Ford Expedition driving recklessly with no visible license plate on Murphy Avenue in Ferguson.

The sheriff’s office said law enforcement attempted to stop the Expedition at a traffic stop by using emergency equipment, but the vehicle, being driven by 18-year-old Coltan Randolph of Somerset, didn’t stop.

Randolph “almost struck several vehicles including the patrol deputies, during his attempt to escape law enforcement,” the PCSO wrote on Facebook. He drove into Wayne County and eventually into Clinton County, where authorities say he crashed into a vehicle.

The PCSO said Randolph was taken out of the Expedition, but continued to resist law enforcement before eventually being arrested in Clinton County.

Law enforcement said that deputies searched Randolph’s Expedition after the crash and found methamphetamine.

    • First-degree fleeing or evading police
    • Operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance
    • Resisting arrest
    • First-degree possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine
    • First-degree promoting contraband
    • First-degree wanton endangerment

The chase remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office, and the crash in Clinton County is under investigation by the Kentucky State Police Department, per the PCSO.

They all most got a man kill to .They or two got his tag plate number and let him know went before he hit the man about killed him. I don't go along with Emma chasing at 120 mph through traffic it needs to be a law passed that they get your license plates numbers and stuff and then go to their home and arrest them.
