HARRODSBURG, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — A search by law enforcement on Sunday led to the arrest of a man in connection with an investigation into a string of burglaries in multiple Kentucky counties.

According to the Harrodsburg Police Department (HPD), officers began investigating a burglary at a local business. Police reportedly found a stolen truck from Marion County in the area of Jackson Pike, and enough evidence had been collected to establish a connection between the two.

The HPD wrote on Facebook that later Sunday morning, the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a residential burglary in the area of Louisville Road in the McAfee community, where deputies found that the same person who allegedly robbed the residence was connected to the prior burglary in Harrodsburg.

According to law enforcement, cameras in the Louisville Road area captured video of the man who allegedly robbed the residence. Officers posted photos taken from the camera footage to Facebook around 11:20 a.m. and said he was wanted in connection with several thefts, along with a warning not to approach him.
