    Police searching for man who allegedly shot 2 on Devonport Drive after 1 dies

    LEXINGTON, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — Police in Lexington are asking the public for help finding a man who allegedly shot and injured two people, leading to one of them dying over a week later.

    According to the Lexington Police Department (LPD), officers were dispatched around 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 3 to the 2200 block of Devonport Drive in Lexington in response to reports of a shooting with two victims.

    When officers got to the scene, there were two men outside, each with a gunshot wound, according to the LPD.

    Police said the victims were taken to a local hospital, one victim had reported non-life-threatening injuries, and the other with life-threatening injuries.

    On Tuesday, Juan Angel Martinez-Bustos was pronounced dead from his injuries by the Fayette County Coroner’s Office, according to a news release.

    Lexington police told FOX 56 that witnesses described the suspect as a skinny black man, about 6 feet tall, wearing a red jacket and either black or red pants, as well as black Air Jordans.
