    Three-legged dog reunited with Lexington family after being found with cheese puff cannister on head

    LEXINGTON, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — It was a heart-warming reunion on Wednesday for one Lexington family and their furry friend.

    On Wednesday, Lexington-Fayette Animal Care and Control (LFACC) wrote on Facebook that a kind citizen had called saying they found a three-legged dog with his head stuck in a cheese puff jar in their backyard.

    The stray dog matched the description of Kylo, who had reportedly been missing for months, leaving his owner heartbroken.

    “Over the past few months, we’ve received multiple reports of Kylo sightings, and even set traps to bring him home, but he was always one step ahead—known for his knack for eluding capture,” LFACC said.

    Animal control officials confirmed that the dog was in fact Kylo, and his owner came immediately to pick him up, leading to what LFACC staff called “an emotional and joyful reunion.”
