    Man charged with meth trafficking in London

    LONDON, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — A Corbin man was arrested on Friday for an alleged drug trafficking offense.

    The London Police Department said 57-year-old Stacey Farley, of Corbin, was arrested on Brown Lane in London after an officer saw a vehicle make multiple traffic violations.

    LATEST KENTUCKY NEWS:

    Farley was allegedly in possession of a large amount of suspected meth. In a news release, the London Police Department shared images of what appeared to be four plastic bags of the suspected meth.

    He was charged with first-degree first-offense trafficking controlled substance—greater than or equal to 2 grams of methamphetamine, license plate not legible, inadequate silencer—muffler, failure to wear seat belts, first-offense failure of owner to maintain required ins/sec, failure to produce insurance card, no registration receipt, and no registration plates.

    Farely was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center with a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 22.
