    1 injured after shots fired in Lexington Mini Mart

    LEXINGTON, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — A convenience store clerk was injured in an altercation that led to a shooting on Friday afternoon.

    Lexington police said just after 3 p.m. officers responded to Anniston Mini Mart for a disorder between the clerk and a customer.

    LATEST KENTUCKY NEWS:

    According to the Lexington Police Department, shots were fired but no one was shot.

    The store clerk was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.

    One person was arrested on scene, per LPD, and was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree burglary, and first-degree fleeing or evading.

    Aubrion Johnson, 18, was arrested and charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree wanton endangerment, second-degree escape, first-degree fleeing or evading police, second-degree assault, and carrying a concealed weapon.

    Police said he was lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center .
