‘Largest amount of Fentanyl ever’ in London city limits seized, police say

LONDON, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — The London Police Department (LPD) seized a record-breaking amount of fentanyl within city limits on Saturday during a drug investigation.

The LPD wrote on Facebook Saturday that officers “seized the largest amount of Fentanyl ever, within the city limits of London.”

Police said that officers seized over a kilo of fentanyl, and over 1,000 fentanyl pills.

“This has a street value of $50,000 that won’t reach our community,” the LPD said.

The drug investigation remains ongoing, and more information will be shared as it becomes available.
