GLASGOW, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — One man was killed, another man was seriously injured and a woman’s condition is unknown after a crash on Scottsville Road in Glasgow on Sunday morning.

According to the Kentucky State Police Department (KSP), troopers at Post 3 were dispatched at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday to the 7000 block of Scottsville Road in Glasgow in response to a deadly crash.

An initial investigation showed that a white 2000 GMC Sierra driven by Charles Vittitoe, 47, of Scottsville was headed north on Scottsville Road. Vittitoe allegedly swerved to avoid hitting a deer, which caused his vehicle to cross the center line and crash into a black 2009 GMC Sierra heading south driven by Danny Webb and carrying passenger Sharon Webb, 71, of Cave City.

Danny Webb was pronounced dead at the scene by the Barren County Coroner’s Office, according to a news release. Sharon Webb was taken to T.J. Samson Hospital in Glasgow for “unknown injuries,” KSP said.
