    Car crashes into black bear on I-75 in Whitley County

    WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — Emergency personnel in Corbin responded after a car reportedly crashed into a black bear in the early hours of Sunday morning on I-75.

    The Corbin Fire Department (CFD) wrote on Facebook that crews were dispatched just before 3:15 a.m. to the 24.5-mile marker on I-75 North on Sunday in response to “a vehicle collision into a black bear.”

    Authorities did not say whether or not any people were injured in the crash.

    The CFD said crews were assisted at the scene by the Corbin Police Department and Whitley County EMS.
