it's all because people want dogs to breed them and sell puppies to get cash then ditch the dogs.. listen I'm from wtby,CT I have 3 rescue pittbulls ranging from 8 years old a 3 year old and a 10 month old..the 2 older females are fixed and our baby once he's grown more we will do the same..what I'm getting at when I take them for walks, all I hear is hey u breeding them or any puppies..NO people sorry we Don't do that...they are our children..I have 2 adult children and our puppies r so loveable..yes breaks my heart and gets me mad also..

I actually have a tool to break a window in case I see a child or animal locked in a car for too long. I always bring my dog into the store with me if I have to make a sudden stop and grab something fast I never leave her in there not only because somebody May steal her and look for a reward but just a simple fact that I don't want to heat up not even for less than 5 minutes will I do it. I really wish there was more help out there for animal owners with medical assistance. my guinea pig isn't doing well and it's $1,000 so I'm saving every cent I have to get her looked at and helped. but my animals will always come first and I truly hope that others do the same
