Silencers are legal, he just didn’t pay his extortion fee to the government. Moreover, it should be none of the government’s business if you saw off your shotgun. These jackboots robbed this guy of 5 years of his life for bullshit. Now, if he had a protective order against him for being an asshole, that’s a different story but, the gun charges are typical government overreach.
