When you apply for help and they say it takes time, Does Not Help when you don’t have an inhabitable home to live in & it takes months to get help from the government. The Fraud that goes on needs to be investigated and prosecuted for those who take funds that they actually do not qualify for. A man who’s daughter and son in law was living with him lied for them and he agreed to say they were living in one of his rental properties so they can get FEMA assistance! They collected $35,000.00 to buy a home!! We, the working people strive everyday to pay for insurance has the insurance company file bankruptcy and we can’t get an assistance, when We are the ones paying the taxes and others benefit from it! I’m living in my home that was catastrophically damaged still with no kitchen and none of the necessary equipment and appliances in the kitchen and bathroom! Not one room in my home is completely finished and I can’t get help or the help I got overcharged me and damaged my home more!!
