One of the best female tennis players comments A video resurfaced in late August of a 2013 appearance by tennis pro Serena Williams on “Late Show with David Letterman” where she emphatically explained that there is no way she would ever win a match against a male competitor, such as Andy Murray. Williams explained how Murray, a global tennis champion, always jokes about the two of them squaring off on the courts.“And I’m like, ‘Andy, seriously, are you kidding me?’ Because, for me … men’s tennis and women’s tennis are completely almost two separate sports,” Williams explained. “So … if I were to play Andy Murray, I would lose 6-0-6-0 in five to six minutes, maybe 10 minutes.”Letterman tried to push Williams to see if she was just being humble about her incredible ability, but she doubled down. “It’s a completely different sport. The men are a lot faster … they serve harder … they hit harder. It’s just a different game, and I love to play women’s tennis.”
