It’s a dangerous risky place to live. Maybe Florida residents should pay higher property taxes -designated to go toward the state’s emergency fund. The federal gov would still help but it wouldn’t be such a burden. They chose to live in a place where hurricanes are common -especially now. They boast about the low taxes.
