Colin Cowherd Predicts Cowboys Miss the Playoffs This Season

Colin Cowherd: “I think Dallas narrowly misses the playoffs. They have the quietest and least talented running back room in the league, and when Dak Prescott has to throw over 40 times he's 8-18 in his career. The NFC is better than it's been the last 2-3 years. The NFC is tougher, he has no run-game, and if they don't sign CeeDee Lamb, they're not only going to miss the playoffs, they may not have the same coach by mid-October. They were quiet in free agency and I don't see a ton of depth.”

The Cowboys have won 12 games in three consecutive seasons, but Colin is worried about a Dallas run-game that Colin believes could the NFL’s worst, adding that Dak Prescott i s 8-18 for his career in games that he has to throw over 40 times, so a horrendous run-game would once again expose a stat-padder like Prescott.

According to BETMGM, the Cowboys are currently –210 to make the playoffs, and +170 to miss them -- an implied probability of 67.7% for the Cowboys to make the postseason for the fourth consecutive season.
