Saquon Barkley: I’m a Big Boy

Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley finally makes his highly anticipated appearance on The Dan Patrick Show and answers all of the tough questions about their Week 2 Monday Night Football loss to the Atlanta Falcons where he dropped a crucial pass. They talk about his process for moving on and rebounding against the Saints on Sunday and the elevated rushing numbers across the league. And Dan imparts some advice for Saquon and his prospects for starting a career in the media.

Saquon Barkley: “There’s usually three to four plays a game that win or lose you a game, and when you’re part of that reason, it sticks with you a little longer...At the end of the day, I’m a big boy, I get paid a lot of money, and that happens. When you make mistakes or you let a team down, you got to face those questions and I did that after the game and, to be honest, throughout the whole week leading up to the Saints.”
