While testifying in Congress today, Brett Favre revealed that he has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and Doug Gottlieb has the details. He talks about the inherent dangers of a career playing professional football and bemoans the struggles that Favre and some of the toughest quarterbacks in history are going through. It looks like Favre may be yet another victim of the traumatic brain injuries inherent in the sport.

Doug Gottlieb: “It’s a couple of the toughest quarterbacks that anyone knows. I think Jim McMahon also suffering a ton of ill-effects after playing football, and now Brett Favre as well. It’s just sad, really sad.”
