I am really curious and don’t understand so please don’t misconstrue what I am asking. But, how did 10- 29inches of rain which is between 2 feet and a little over 2 feet of rain, turn into 24 feet of rain which is 288 inches of water precipitation that covered and wiped out homes, infrastructure, and towns? How did 10-29 inches of rain turn into such a catastrophe as we just had?
