Here are some facts.. the Southwest Florida Water Management District released additional water from Medard reservoir into Alafia River! They released 600 cubic ft per second! ( wish I can post details)Most as, some genius commented are not million dollar homes off Lithia that got flooded! But mainly homes around 300k. Some people have homes on 14 feet stilts .. flooding thanks to other geniuses that work at water management that could have slowly released the water BEFORE the hurricane .. decided to do it after hurricane knowing this will cause severe influx of water.. they should be sued! Getting back to homes.. 24.20 feet flooding( I can not recall exactly the number after the decimal) was almost record breaking! Oh and for another genius.. it’s the local Floridians that decided to live there .. so don’t blame it on anyone but people that picked to live there. But when land was bought and homes were erected.. they did not have geniuses releasing water after the storm either!

Next comes the sinkholes. These greedy commissions and elected officials are selling our swamp land to these big land developers. All they are doing is looking at the dollar signs. I am a Florida Native. Lithia and the Alafia River have always flooded. It's all swamp land. All of these high dollar homes won't be worth $100. in a few years. Florida is 90% swamp land.
