Andrews PD looking for hit-and-run driver after child dies from injuries
ANDREWS, Texas β The Andrews Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying the driver of a vehicle that hit a male juvenile, then left the scene. APD says the incident happened between 6-6:04 a.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of Southeast/East Avenue E. South Abilene house fire causes $180k in estimated damages
ABILENE, Texas β A fire at a home in the 3700 block of Patty Lynne in south Abilene caused an estimated $180,000 in damages Tuesday. The Abilene Fire Department was dispatched to the fire, where crews arrived to find smoke and flames venting from the home's roof and smoke venting from the eves of the home. A working fire was declared and a second alarm was called to the location.
