DENVER (KDVR) — It was another hot summer day for Denver weather with afternoon highs reaching the 90s, about 5-7 degrees above normal.
Wednesday will be another hot day before temperatures return to more seasonal levels in the upper 80s. There will also be the chance for scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms to provide some much-needed rain, according to Pinpoint Weather, Colorado’s Most Accurate Forecast.
Clouds will continue to drift across Colorado through the overnight hours making skies partly to mostly clouds at times. The wind will be light and from a southwesterly direction.
Temperatures will fall to comfortable levels in the 50s and 60s across the state.

Weather tomorrow: Hot again, afternoon storms
Wednesday will have some sunshine at times and another hot day with afternoon readings returning to the 90s across eastern Colorado and metro Denver. Scattered thunderstorms will develop across the area in the late afternoon, bringing some relief from the heat.
The Pinpoint Weather team is not expecting severe weather from these passing storms. However, any thunderstorms can produce lightning, gusty wind and small hail along with brief, heavy rain.
