High temperatures on Wednesday afternoon will reach the lower 90s, putting Denver a few degrees above average.

Sunny skies could lead to the chance for some isolated storms later in the day.

Weather tonight: Extra clouds

Some extra clouds linger Wednesday night with the winds staying light. Overnight low temperatures will be warm in the lower 60s.

Looking ahead: Still hot, storm chances

Thursday has decent chances for scattered afternoon storms with a few extra clouds and seasonal highs in the upper 80s.

Friday’s storm chances are lower with more sunshine and seasonal highs in the upper 80s.

Saturday kicks off the weekend with mainly sunny skies, hot highs in the low 90s and tiny storm chances.

Sunday brings back abundant sunshine and highs near 90 degrees.

A few extra clouds arrive early next week, with decent pockets of sunshine and just above-average highs in the upper 80s.
