    Denver weather: Drier weather through the weekend

    ​​​​​DENVER (KDVR) — Scattered thunderstorms will be possible in the Eastern Plains Thursday night, while Denver’s weather will remain relatively quiet.

    Pinpoint Weather, Colorado’s Most Accurate Forecast, is tracking drier weather in the week ahead as well.

    Temperatures overnight will be in the upper 50s and low 60s for most areas, closer to seasonal normal. Locations in the Eastern Plains may experience some strong thunderstorms for the first part of the night, but the weather will be drying out after sunset.

    Weather tomorrow: A typical August day

    Temperatures on Friday will be in the upper 80s, close to seasonal highs. The southeast quadrant of the state will again be near the triple digits. Mountain areas may see more spotty showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.

    Looking ahead: Showers, storms possible

    The Denver metro will have drier weather through the weekend, but isolated showers and storms will still be possible. Temperatures rebound into the low 90s Sunday with upper 80s Sunday. Expect breezy conditions this weekend as well.

    Next week’s forecast looks to be drier and sunnier with cooler weather possible by the end of the week.
