All five people were taken to a local hospital with varying injuries, according to police. Two adults suffered serious injuries with one being listed as life-threatening, the other three had minor injuries.

Aurora police believe speed is a factor in the crash, but the investigation is ongoing.

Due to the investigation, the Airport Boulevard on-ramp was closed at Peña Boulevard for a few hours on Wednesday morning. However, the road was reopened at around 6:30 a.m.

That intersection is so notorious for having deadly crashes from people not paying attention, speeding, and running the light. I watched an accident occur at that same intersection and a woman lost her life. Please be safe out there. it’s not worth losing your life to save a few minutes.
