1 killed in crash that closed I-25 north in Denver

DENVER (KDVR) — A deadly crash closed northbound Interstate 25 on Friday evening, snarling traffic for miles.

The interstate was closed around 6 p.m. between University Boulevard and U.S. 85/Santa Fe Drive, between mile points 205-207. Drivers were warned to expect delays.

The crash involved two vehicles, according to the Denver Police Department. Police said one person died on the scene.

No further information was immediately available about the circumstances.
