    2 injured in shooting along Colorado Boulevard

    DENVER ( KDVR ) — A shooting in the 4900 block of North Colorado Boulevard left two people injured Sunday, according to the Denver Police Department.

    The shooting was reported at about 7:15 p.m. and occurred in the parking lot of El Toro, a restaurant located at 4957 N. Colorado Blvd. in the Elyria-Swansea neighborhood. Police told FOX31’s Nate Belt there were two victims in the shooting.

    One victim was taken to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries was unknown. The second victim self-transported themselves to a local hospital with minor injuries.

    As of about 7:30 p.m., the entire restaurant parking lot had been taped off for the investigation. Officers are working to develop suspect information.
