DENVER (KDVR) — We have arrived, Broncos Country!

The Denver Broncos will open the 2024 NFL season in Seattle against the Seahawks.

The team from the Orange and Blue Report shared their predictions:

    Arran Andersen: Seahawks 27-20

The Seahawks are going to wear their throwback uniforms, but Kenny Easley will not be patrolling the secondary. The Broncos will be able to score points, but not enough in their season opener.

    Amanda Ferguson: Broncos 23-20

Bo Nix led Auburn to a win over the No. 11-ranked team in the country in his first college game as a true freshman. The moment wasn’t too big for him then and I don’t think it is now. He’s the most experienced quarterback in college football history and that pays off week one.

    Bruce Haertl: Seahawks 24-21

Rookie quarterbacks are 0-7-1 in opening games over the last five years. Lumen Field rivals Arrowhead Stadium as the loudest facility in all the National Football League. Add that to the fact that Mike Macdonald is probably the most defensive head coach in the NFL and a very creative one for Bo Nix to open against. I think Nix will have his moments, but the Broncos come up short.

    Myck Miller: Broncos 34-27

We’re “Nixing” to find out if Bo Nix is the next face of this franchise at the most important position. I think he comes out of the gate, leading the Orange and Blue to a huge victory against the Seattle Seahawks. And I think he puts up a lot of points on the board.

    Brandon Stokley: Broncos 23-20

Despite how tough it is to play in Seattle, I’m going with the Broncos in a close one. I like the Broncos going on the road and figuring it out and finding a way to get their first win of the season. There’s just something about this team that’s different this year, feels different this year. Now it’s gonna be tough and it’s not gonna be easy.
