DENVER ( KDVR ) — The late summer heat will continue as Denver’s weather remains unseasonably hot.

However, Pinpoint Weather, Colorado’s Most Accurate Forecast, says minor rain chances exist over the next few days.

Weather tonight: Quiet and dry weather

Temperatures overnight will fall into the 50s for most areas, although the Denver metro may hover around 60 degrees. Partly cloudy skies will gradually clear overnight. Winds come from the southwest around 5-10 mph.

Temperatures on Monday will again be above normal. Highs will top out in the upper 80s to low 90s across the Front Range, with warmer conditions likely in southeast Colorado.

Denver will also see more isolated showers or storms develop over the mountains. The storms will likely stay there, but we may get a few out into the eastern plains.

Looking ahead: Late summer pattern persists

Temperatures will be on either side of 90 degrees through Thursday. That said, there are chances for more isolated showers or storms, mainly over the mountains, on Tuesday. Wednesday sees a better opportunity for showers in metro Denver and the Front Range.

Hot temperatures will continue through the mid-week.

Denver may see some minor changes to the forecast heading into next weekend. Although it’s likely to stay mostly sunny and dry, the area may see temperatures moderate some down into the middle 80s.
