Missing 15-year-old found safe in Aurora

DENVER ( KDVR ) — The Aurora Police Department said a 15-year-old who was the subject of an Endangered Missing Alert has been found safe.

Police said the teen has a developmental disability and he functions at a 6-year-old level. He also requires a medication, which police said he left without.

The Colorado Bureau of Investigations has not said where or how he was found.

While he was missing, police were asking people to call 911 or the Aurora Police Department at 303-627-3100.
