DENVER ( KDVR ) — Englewood police were investigating an alleged threat at Englewood High School, Englewood Middle School and the Englewood Leadership Academy on Monday morning, but the schools have since been cleared.

Police said they received an anonymous tip about an explosive device inside the combined building. Out of an abundance of caution, all students were moved out of the building and bussed to another school in the district. Englewood Schools said they will have a delayed start of 11 a.m.

Police officers and K-9 officers were dispatched to the school.

At around 10 a.m., Englewood police said all three schools were cleared after a “very thorough search.” Police said nothing suspicious was located.

at 12:30 p.m., the district reported that al classes had been resumed and that the superintendent would be sharing an update.

The Englewood Police Department will continue investigating.

All three schools are in the 3800 block of South Logan Street.

A Greeley high school canceled class Monday after a potential threat circulated online. The Eagle County Sheriff’s Office also said they were aware of a social media post listing schools from across Colorado to Texas, and that there would be an increased presence at schools.
